It all started during the 2021-2022 season playoffs. During the second round of the playoff, Leonard suffered an ACL injury that made him sidelined for the rest of the league. Last year, Leonard underwent a reconstructed surgery to repair the ACL of his right knee. But it seems like he is still recovering from the injury.
So far the Los Angeles Clippers have won 2 matches out of 6 games. And Leonard has only appeared in two games.
Kawhi Leonard might miss two more games
So far this season Kawhi Leonard came out of the benches and played for only 21 minutes in two games. In his last appearance against the Suns, Leonard scored 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. And later in the next three games, he can be seen sitting on the beaches. When the head coach Tyronn Lue was questioned about Leonard’s availability in the practice session, he said, “I don’t know.” And further added, “Just continue to do his rehab. We don’t know if he’s playing or not tomorrow yet either, but I don’t think so today.”
As this news spreads, the NBA world is in disbelief, and their reactions can be seen all over the internet. According to reports, Kawhi Leonard will be out for at least six games. He might miss their next two games in Houston and San Antonio. On this, one of the netizens said, “yeah his knees are finished he’s prob gonna retire in the next 2 years.”
Kawhi Leonard's absence will stretch to a minimum of six games, per Clippers coach Ty Lue.

If I’m a Clippers fan, this would terrify me long term. Kawhi hasn’t finished the season 4 of the last 6 years (2017, 2018, 2021, 2022), and it won’t improve as he gets older.

Does Leonard’s absence appear to haunt the team? Despite the fact that the Clippers had a rough start to the season. However, Norman Powell and Paul George appear to contribute to the team. But the fans and the team will be hoping that Leonard can recover quickly and lead the team in future games.
