Doc Rivers faced a difficult situation with the trade

During the interview, he mentioned and discussed how difficult it was for him to make that decision since her daughter was also involved.??Trading Seth, I had to deal with my daughter ? who had two young babies. Doc Rivers then added it has worked out for his daughter in Brooklyn and he can drive and visit her whenever he wants.

This was not the first time he traded a family member away. Rivers did it when he used to coach his son, Austin Rivers, on the Los Angeles Clippers. Doc Rivers disclosed Austin was not angry and made it easy on him when he tried to break the trade news to his son.
