Chris Paul has recently been on the end of an ugly altercation with some Dallas Mavericks fans during a game between the two sides in the conference semifinals. The incident that preceded the public lashing out from Chris Paul?s side is something that should be taken into account of something that should never ever happen and is totally unacceptable.
A Suns fan harassed Chris Paul?s mother in the audience during the playoff game. When Chris Paul got to know about the misbehavior, he was quick to react to it. As CP3 was fouled out, he saw the fan involved in the incident. He was close to throwing hands at the fan for the alleged misdemeanor.

Shaquille O?Neal recently commented on the whole situation. He kind of surprisingly blamed someone for not taking the action he should have.
Shaquille O?Neal ?blames? the father of Chris Paul after not taking enough action
On The Big Podcast with Shaq, Shaq discussed the matter in the recent episode, The Big Heart of Texas. He interestingly ?blamed? CP3?s father for not handling the situation better on his end. However, ?blame? is a strong word here considering the circumstances. Nischelle Turner mentioned that CP3 had been fouled out and his dad was in the stands when all this happened. Shaq had some harsh assessments. He said, ?His dad should?ve been in jail. Let me tell you something, my dad? Sergeant? Hahaha? He ain?t having none of that.??
Shaq compared his dad to CP3?s and drew the comparison considering how his father would have reacted. His father could not handle the situation in the best way possible. In that respect, Shaq kind of ?blamed? Paul?s dad. And then Chris Paul got involved.

He also said, ?These people [opposing fans] don?t care about us anyway. A lot of times during hostile playoffs, ?honey, don?t come, don?t come. Don?t wanna kill nobody.? [Shaq used to say to his family]. And they understood that. But when they did come, I got some cousins, who ?bouted? bouted. ?Hey man, giving you these tickets? and [if] that happened to my wife and the kids, after the game, I am putting my hands on you. ? So I never had that problem. But I understand that he [Chris Paul] is protecting his family. But you gotta focus on your job and you gotta have other people to do that. Don?t he got a brother???

Shaq then continued to tell the story of his cousins and the friends of his father?s, who would come to the arenas without telling Shaq and would be ready to take the matter into their own hands. In that way, Shaq felt more severe action should have been taken for the incident that happened. Because it was completely unacceptable.
