The news about the upcoming project was released in August 2022, and will be produced by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Aditya Sood. Additionally, Rodman will be the executive producer of the movie.
?His character as a man is one that is unbridled,? said Majors. Furthermore, Majors revealed that he loves exploring roles without thinking about the consequences.
Majors added, “He?s eclectic. He?s an open mind. He?s an open heart. And, selfishly, you want to play a role like that, because it?s gonna push you to that place. Jesse Brown teaches me things about my soul and spirit. I know Rodman?s going to too, and I?m just looking forward to getting into it.”

Over two decades later, Rodman’s infamous trip became the talk of the town again when The Last Dance was released.
Dennis Rodman takes a short vacation

Therefore, the pressure was mostly on MJ and Rodman. So when Pippen returned to the court, Rodman declared that he needed a vacation. It was during a discussion between Rodman, MJ, and Phil Jackson when the former expressed his wish.

“We look at Dennis and say, ‘Dennis, what are you gonna do?’ He says, ‘Well, I need to go to Vegas.’ (I said) ‘Phil, you let this dude go to vacation, we’re not gonna see him. You let him go to Vegas, we’re definitely not gonna see him.'” said Jordan during the docuseries.
Thinking about what MJ had said, Jackson asked Rodman if he could shorten his vacation to 48 hours. Realizing that he didn’t have any other choice, Rodman agreed.
