The Los Angeles Lakers currently sit in the 13th position in the Western Conference table, and their chances of making it into the playoffs look thin. If the Los Angeles side has the mettle to reach the playoffs, they have to win most of their remaining games. The road ahead, therefore, is certainly not easy. Moreover, amidst all the uncertainty, the Lakers were recently hit with the news that would undoubtedly impact their playoff aspirations. LeBron James’ recent injury scare at the All-Star game may limit any leftover optimism around the Crypto.com Arena.
On Sunday night, Team LeBron and Team Giannis locked horns in the All-Star game. However, James couldn’t complete the game as he went out with an injury after attempting a block and instead making contact with the rim.

James might have assured everyone that he would be fine, but it is unclear whether he could start the next game against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. King James is the centerpiece of the Lakers squad. Therefore if he misses the next game or a couple more games, it would undoubtedly be a problem for the purple and gold.
The Lakers nation reflected on James’ recent injury news
Shortly after Lakernation and the rest of the NBA world acknowledged that James had endured a hand injury, they took to social media to share their thoughts. Fans flooded the comment section of Twitter, and most expressed that it was not a major injury and that he would be more than fine before the Warriors game on Thursday. However, a few other users expressed their sadness as they couldn’t believe King James had suffered an injury at this crucial stage of the season.
