After an interesting regular season, the Philadelphia 76ers have reached the playoffs with enough enthusiasm. Furthermore, no one would have expected a Joel Embiid-James Harden duo on their roster. However, as the postseason progresses, fans have gotten used to the player change.
That being said, NBA Twitter seems to be having their own reactions to Harden and Embiid playing together on the court.

In a recent play against the Toronto Raptors, both Embiid and Harden ended up on the floor. The 32-year-old was driving, only to collide with Embiid and a Raptors player. In the end, Harden drew the foul, and a lot of reactions online.

The play leading to it is equally as funny.

Joel and Harden literally crashed into eachother and somehow got a foul.

Many even referred to it as embarrassing, considering how the overall picture looked with Harden and Embiid both on the ground. While some fans did defend them, others pointed out that both Embiid and Harden are at the free-throw line way too often.
It was used as a meme by some, who have been feeling the vibes this entire season. Harden shot 87.7 percent from the FT line this season, while Embiid shot 81.4 percent. Their field goal percentages are in the 40s, something which many fans thought could be more.
Overall, many thought the situation to be hilarious. Because two players from the same team crashed and ended up with a foul.
However, despite the slightly negative tone from some fans, many looked at it as something hilarious. Some even pointed out that the play before this was equally hilarious. Having said that, one cannot deny that their techniques have paid off till now.
How are the 76ers faring in the playoffs?
Apart from all the jokes made, Embiid, Harden, and Sixers are leading 2-0 against the Raptors. With two more wins, the newly formed duo will head to the Round 2 of the playoffs. Furthermore, Embiid’s MVP-worthy performance has been the talk of the season as well.
