“High Volume Lying,” Fans Call Out 24 YO NBA Star as His Hilarious Take on Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan Resurfaces

Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James have been at the epicenter of every other conversation about the NBA’s all-time greats. For a remarkable time, Michael Jordan enjoyed the GOAT status without much dispute. When Kobe’s phenomenal run came to an end, some started comparing him with MJ and many even think that Mamba has an edge over MJ. Likewise, there is a set of fans who think LeBron has surpassed both of these legends. One of the most hilarious takes on the GOAT conversation, however, came from a 24-year-old NBA star.

The young NBA star’s opinion might go well with Kobe Bryant fans. LBJ fans too might take his comments on the chin. That won’t, however, be the case for MJ faithful. Apparently, the 24-year-old is now facing fans’ fury as they chanced to revisit his hilarious comments about Kobe and MJ.

Last year, the Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander let out an interesting observation about Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and fellow NBA icons while interacting with youngsters at a basketball camp. Surprising a bunch of youngsters, Shai said, “Kobe is Michael Jordan just on steroids.” Soon a kid told Shai that they were talking about the best player, not individual skill set.

The OKC star responded that Kobe has five rings and there is no room for argument. SGA also mentioned that Kobe was the best all around, prompting another boy to say LeBron James is the best all around. Soon another boy brought in Kevin Durant and his skill set to the conversation, making SGA say, “KD is seven feet.” To call it a day, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander revealed his top three NBA players of all time. “Kobe one, Bron two, Mike three,” he said.

This set of bizarre early admissions has now taken center stage on Twitter as Old NBA Tweets posted, “I’ll never forgive Shai for lying to these kids like this,” they captioned the tweet.

Fans call out Shai Gilgeous-Alexander after the revisit

Unlike Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, not many have ever revealed a top three list in which Michael Jordan is the third. Besides, many fans think the remark “Michael Jordan on steroids,” was disrespectful. Though Kobe fans seem to have enjoyed Shai’s comments, most fans have drawn daggers at the 24-year-old. “That was some high volume lying from Shai. Bra said kobe is MJ on steroids n followed it up with KD can do everything curry does,” said a fan.
