Ever since the advent of social media, it isn’t a rare sight that official social media handles of leading sports teams take a dig at each other. Similarly, the Miami Heat‘s official Twitter handle went across sports to troll an NFL team. In a recent tweet, the Heat tweeted a cryptic message to troll the Dallas Cowboys after their Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics. Following the tweet, NBA fans flooded in with hilarious reactions to the cryptic message.
The Cowboys had a frustrating defeat against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC divisional playoff. Moreover, the defeat ended their three-decade-long dream to win the Superbowl. However, after the loss, the Cowboys’ official Twitter handle went on to criticize quarterback Dak Prescot for the defeat with a tweet. However, the team faced a lot of heat for calling out a player post the game. Eventually, the NBA team Heat also joined the bandwagon to troll the Cowboys.

The Miami Heat defeated the Celtics 98-95 on Tuesday night at their home. After the game, the Heat’s Twitter handle tweeted, “Celtics gave away the ball 17 times in the narrow loss to the HEAT, in a matchup the Celtics had a chance to win if they didn’t again generate self-inflicted wounds.”

Though it looked like a usual tweet, the fans found the cryptic message underlined in the tweet. Several words from the Cowboys’ tweet matched the tweet, and the fans felt that the tweet had a sarcastic tone to it.

The Heat defeat the in-form Celtics
