NBA star Kemba Walker struggled to find a new team to call home since his departure from the New York Knicks in 2022. The Knicks traded the 32-year-old point guard to the Detroit Pistons in July 2022. About four months later, the Pistons let go of Walker who then signed with the Dallas Mavericks in November. However, the non-guaranteed one-year-deal was cut off short by the Mavs in January 2023, leaving Walker without a team. Interestingly, it seems like Walker has already figured out his next step. The new reports on Walker’s future plans has NBA fans raising their eyebrows.

During his brief stint with the Dallas Mavericks, Kemba Walker played in nine games averaging 8.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. The NBA star scored a season-high 32 points, five rebounds, and seven assists in one of the games with the Mavs.

Following a series of unsuccessful stints in the league, it seems like Kemba Walker is all set to try out his luck in Europe. As per reports by Gazzetta dello Sport, Walker is in the midst of finalizing a deal with EuroLeague basketball team Olimpia Milano. During his time in the NBA, the 4x NBA All-Star has played for the Charlotte Hornets, followed by the Boston Celtics, then the New York Knicks.

If the reports are to be believed, then this will be the first time that the 2011 NCAA champion will play for a team in Europe and it might just be what Walker needs to boost his basketball career. On the other hand, the Milano have not been doing so well, with no more than six wins out of the 19 games played so far.
