After suffering a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors will be going up against the Orlando Magic in their next matchup. Notably, the team will also have one of its veterans return to the starting lineup after dealing with nagging injuries. And no, it is not Stephen Curry, but long-time Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala will make his season debut against the Magic.?

Andre Iguodala has missed about 40 games for the Warriors since the start of the season. Constant injuries have kept the veteran off the floor but after participating in a scrimmage with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Iguodala is confident about returning.

The Golden State Warriors have been playing awfully well in the absence of their star player, Stephen Curry. The team went on a five-game winning streak and just recently lost their first game in this New Year to a buzzer-beating game-winner.?

But after the announcement was made by Andre Iguodala on his podcast, ?Point Forward?, fans are confused over the fact whether he is still in the NBA or not.?

While many fans seemingly made fun of Iguodala, very few saw the advantage of still having a veteran on the team.

The Warriors without Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors have five players out of their roster due to injuries, six if you count Iguodala. Yet the rest of the squad took it upon themselves to keep the team afloat and not give up in the face of adversity.

Even though it is painful to lose your star player, this has arguably given head coach Steve Kerr a great opportunity. Kerr has been experimenting with different lineups and strategies, while also giving some young legs time on the floor.
