James Harden and DeMar DeRozan are two elite shooting guards in the league. Harden is cruising in the playoffs with Embiid and his teammates, as the Sixers lead 3-0 over the Raptors. Whereas DeRozan and the Bulls are playing the defending champs in the first round, with the series tied at 1-1.
Recently, quite some fans expressed their hate towards both the players. Both the players are masters at their own craft. Harden is known for his deadly step-back three-pointers, whereas DeMar’s midrange pullups are a real threat. Though where does the hate come from?

DeRozan is currently averaging 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists versus the Bucks. Not only this, but he also hit a clutch shot over Giannis to seal game 2. DeRozan has shown up this season and in the postseason. His mid-range game somewhat reflects Kobe’s style. But when it comes to Harden, fans might have a valid reason for hate. NBA fans on Twitter seemed confused about why DeRozan was getting hate after the best regular season of his career.

We can never overhate James Harden.
And you're wrong about DeMar. He is pretty much universally loved.— Jeyendran Balakrishnan (@jpbalakrishnan) April 22, 2022
I’ve never seen Demar hate, maybe just lack of attention. He definitely got his flowers this year though

James Harden was traded to Philadelphia earlier this season. Harden was expected to take some load off of Joel Embiid. Though in his initial time, he was not performing as expected, which led to fans hating on him. This had the Sixers fans worried too, as, if he continues to perform the same in the playoffs, it will be a problem. As of now, after 3 games versus the Raptors, Harden has averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists.
James does not look like he is in his playoff mode, but is still facilitating throughout the game. Though everyone expected him to be a scorer, Harden has shown more of his court vision so far.
Can DeRozan lead the Bulls past the Bucks?
DeMar is a pure scorer, he can pull up from mid-range, make open threes, and is also a solid defender. Playing versus the defending champs, it will not be easy for the Bulls to beat Giannis and company. So far, both the games have been close, and the series is tied.

It is tough to decide the winner, but if both the teams continue to play the same, this series might end in game 7. DeRozan is leading the team in scoring beside Lavine and Vucevic. A real threat for the Bucks, DeRozan will look to put up a similar performance in game 3.
