Further, Damon Dash stated, “He’s bipolar and people forget that. I don’t care how rich you are. When you have a chemical imbalance you’re gonna say some crazy things. Anybody knows somebody bi-polar? You don’t put them in front of a camera, you put them in a house or a hospital.”

Speaking from personal experience, Dash suggested that people suffering from Bipolar disorder say the most ‘outlandish’ things when they are triggered or tired. He claimed that it was painful to watch Kanye West and had talked to the rapper about his troubles. Moreover, Dash suggested that people should worry about West’s health rather than focusing on what he said. He also seemed frustrated with the people who did not show any concern about the rapper’s mental health.

Incidentally, Ye was diagnosed with his current ailment after being hospitalized for a psychiatric emergency in 2016. Since then, Ye has admitted to having manic episodes and bouts of paranoia and delusions. Therefore, the topic of taking his remarks at face value remains a raging debate in media.
