“He’s a Worthy Villian”: Ja Morant’s Teammate Ridicules Russell Westbrook, Yet Again Erupting the NBA Fans Amid Fiery Beef

The Memphis Grizzlies have been in the spotlight ever since star player Ja Morant’s gun controversy. Even though the Grizzlies have already secured a spot in the playoffs, the team’s intensity never seems to wear off. One Memphis player has frequently engaged in heated on-court altercations with multiple players in the league. Recently, he ridiculed the Los Angeles Clippers star Russell Westbrook on camera, days after their ugly exchange in their previous match-up.

Ever since Westbrook found his new home with the Clippers, the star has shown promising signs. Moreover, he dropped his season-high score of 36 points against the Grizzlies on March 31. However, things didn’t go in favor of Beastbrook in his latest encounter with the Memphis side, as he only scored 4 points in 26 minutes. The Grizzlies guard took the opportunity to have the last laugh. 

Ja Morant’s teammate mocks Russell Westbrook

Hours after the Grizzlies’ dominant victory over the Clippers on Saturday, a video of Dillon Brooks mocking Westbrook surfaced on Twitter. Brooks’ statement came in the aftermath of an ugly verbal altercation between the two in their previous match-up. The duo engaged in a heated verbal exchange where Westbrook repeatedly called Brooks “Trash.” Importantly, the Clippers registered a comfortable 141-132 victory on that day.

However, things took a turn in their next encounter, as the Clippers bundled out for a 94-108 loss. After the game, Brooks took his chance to give it back to the nine-time All-Star. In an interaction with the press, after the game, he referred to Westbrook as “Clown,” for scoring only 4 points. 

In response to the video, fans flooded the comments section with their opinions on the Grizzlies star. One user said, “He’s a worthy Villain. I love it. we need more entertainment in the NBA.”
