Fan reveals what he said to Melo in Lakers vs 76ers
With the final minutes of the game, the Lake show was down and out. In between all this, a fan was yelling at Melo from the sidelines throughout. Hence, when he got the chance, Carmelo Anthony went right up to the fan to confront him. They ejected the fan immediately for his actions and he revealed what he had yelled to Melo.
He said, “We’re blowing out in the game. I say to him, ‘You’re a little boy. Let him shoot. Let him shoot.’ He looked at me. He smiles. I think he goes down to the other end of the court. He comes back down…and I say, ‘Let him shoot. He’s a little boy.’ And he lost his cool out of nowhere.”

With the way things are, this isn’t the first incident with fans. And it won’t be the last time fans and players go at it. Being so close to the action, fans get a closer view of all that’s happening. So instead of heckling at the players, they should enjoy the experience and make their time worth it.
Simultaneously, it is only expected for things like this to happen. Playing on the road, the Lakers knew the fans would not be on their side. Moreover, Philly fans have always been hostile, and this played right into the narrative. Melo could have let it go, but there is no right or wrong reaction here. In the eyes of many, the fan was out of line and he received the appropriate punishment for it.
