A regular season game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics which was officiated by Lewis went viral this season. The veteran ref missed a foul call on a game-winning layup that left LeBron James in denial. The 4-time MVP sat on the court in utter disappointment as the missed call cost the Lakers a crucial game.
However, a mysterious Twitter account defended all of these controversial calls of Eric Lewis. A few fans decided to bring the account to light by sharing screenshots of replies from the suspected account that continuously defended the veteran referee’s calls.
After the news spread like wildfire, the league has decided to open an investigation on Eric Lewis to find out if it was he who handles the Twitter account. Several hours ago, Lakers superstar LeBron James also made some skeptical claims on the viral news.

The 38-year-old shared, “This Eric Lewis s***[emoji] true???” after the news spread like wildfire. After several missed foul calls on him, James took this opportunity to make some claims about Lewis. In addition to the investigation, fans have started to show their rage at the veteran official.
