It was a fiery affair in Denver. The Nuggets brought some life back into the series after losing three straight games against the Golden State Warriors. The Nuggets needed to put on a show to get anything against an in-form Warriors team and what a game it turned out to be. Stephen Curry and Nikola Jokic, both superstars, got massive performances to provide us with an extremely entertaining game.
Nikola Jokic was super effective as everyone expected him to be. He started the game strongly. For the first 23 points, the Nuggets scored, Jokic had 18. They took a handsome lead to set the tone of the game. The Warriors were always chasing the game because of their not-so-efficient start.

Nikola Jokic scored 37 points along with 6 assists and 8 rebounds. With Jokic on target, he got the support he needed from Nah?Shon Hyland who scored 3 back to back three-pointers in the first quarter, and Monte Morris who was on fire all game. He scored 24 points with Aaron Gordan getting 21. The 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 10 minutes from DeMarcus Cousins came at a very crucial stage in the game. Those were the 10 minutes when Jokic was off the court and it was important for the Nuggets to keep the surge on. However, it could have been a different result altogether very easily.

Stephen Curry was close to turning the tables in an eventual narrow win for the Nuggets

Curry?was well and truly back in the last game as he shouted while celebrating,??I?m f****** back!??This game was just a continuation of that. He did not start the game but that doesn’t really matter for the greatest shooter ever. He was slow in getting to his full flow but once he did, it looked like he would run away with the game. During the game, a fan had gestured a crying face when the Warriors were calling for an uncalled foul. That really could have aged poorly.

WATCH THIS STORY: Steph Curry vs Nikola Jokic.

And it almost did not age well. Steph?managed?33 points and 8 assists after uncharacteristically missing 4 free throws and a few three-pointers. But it was his three-pointer and long-range two-pointer jumper which tied the game at 121-121 in the last minutes and momentum looked like the Warriors would sweep the Nuggets. Draymond Green?s ejection also helped the Nuggets as they eventually won the contest 126-121 to make it 3-1 in the series.
