LeBron James is still struggling to recover from his ankle injury. After injuring himself after the All-Star game, James had an extended leave of absence from the Los Angeles Lakers. And when he did return, it didn’t last very long. He played only two games, losing both, before sitting out the next three games after aggravating his injury. But Anthony Davis has quelled any concerns about James’ health coming forward.
AD warns rivals about LeBron James
Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis spoke after their win over the Suns. A reporter asked Davis about LeBron James‘ recovery and eventual return. Fans and analysts alike have speculated that James will not be healthy going into the playoffs. However, Davis shut down those conversations. He said that he saw LeBron James at practices and on the court, and there is no reason to be worried. “What I saw from LeBron today, he’ll be fine. Trust me. He’ll be fine.”

These comments should cause some concern among teams in the Western Conference. At this point, the Lakers are in the play-in position. However, they still have time to turn their season around and secure the sixth seed. However, their future isn’t in their own hands, as they will need either the Blazers or Mavericks to slip up big time. But there are fans who feel confident about the Lakers at full strength, regardless of their seed.

Lakers ready to go through the play-in
Many people believe that if LeBron James and Anthony Davis are at full strength, the Lakers can take on anyone regardless of their seed. If they do go through the play-in tournament, they will most likely face the current eighth-seed Golden State Warriors. The Warriors have been in spectacular form, thanks in large part to Stephen Curry playing some of the best basketball of his career. The Lakers would have to shut him down in their potential play-in game to be able to advance.
