Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons and his ex-girlfriend have been making the news cycles since the beginning of the year. It all started when Maya Jama, his ex, appeared on Love Island as a participant. In one segment of the show, Maya supposedly took a dig at the NBA Star. While talking about her past relationships, she said, “Don’t forget finding your perfect match is never that simple. Trust me, I know.” The public quickly concluded that she was talking about Ben. Amid these reports, Shaquille O’Neal presented Simmons with a piece of advice on the latest episode of The Big Podcast.

Shaquille O’Neal slams Ben Simmons with an advice

“I got one for you, Spicy,” said Shaq and introduced the Simmons topic. He stated that Simmons was Turner’s favorite athlete. Following this, he narrated that the Brooklyn Star had recently made the news demanding the return of a ring from his ex-girlfriend.

In 2021, Maya and Ben were supposedly marching toward tying the knot. However, their engagement was called off with clashing schedules and other issues. With this in mind, Shaq said, “He is demanding his million-dollar ring back. Do you think that is wrong? Do you think he is being petty?”

After posing the question to his co-hosts, the four-time NBA Champion said, “I’m going on the record and say I wouldn’t take it back.” Spice Adam said, “If she was important enough for you to spend one million-dollar on an engagement ring, then she deserves that ring.” He noted that the price didn’t matter. What mattered is for that period, Maya was “worth that” ring.

Shaq chipped in again and slammed Simmons. He said, “If you are dumb enough to buy a million-dollar damn ring, and she breaks up with your dumba**, she gets to keep it. Come on. Stop it.” He further added that if a ring was worth a million dollars, then it should come with a lot of “futuristic AI features.”
