Shaquille O’Neal is one of the NBA’s biggest superstars. For 19 seasons, the big man dominated the NBA while also claiming 4 championships. Three would come while he was a part of the Los Angeles Lakers. Alongside Kobe Bryant, the duo completed a threepeat against the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, and the New Jersey Nets. Moreover, the title successes cemented Shaq’s legacy as one of the franchise’s elites.

Shaq With the Lakers

After a fruitless stint with the Orlando Magic, the Lakers acquired Shaq as a free agent signing. They hoped he would bring the franchise back into championship contention, considering he took the Magic to the finals. However, for 4 years, the Lakers could not even get to the finals. But the 1999-00 season saw a turnaround. The hiring of Phil Jackson along with Shaq winning the MVP led to a Lakers championship win that season.
