Since the dream run in 2020, the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers have failed to capture the same magic that resulted in a championship. The Lakers have massively underperformed this year, ranking among the league’s worst teams. However, unlike the Lakers, not all teams are struggling to find success. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ recent rise in the power rankings has left fans wishing the King would make his long-awaited return.

If LeBron James were to make his way back to Cleveland, it would be his third stint with the team. The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted James in the 2003 draft. However, after failing to succeed with them for almost a decade, James decided to take his talents to south beach and play for the Miami Heat. But after winning 2x NBA championships, the King returned to the city of Cleveland. In one of the greatest finals comebacks ever, James, in a Herculean effort, brought a title to the city in 2016.
