The trade of Lonnie Walker IV was probably the best off-season trade for the Los Angeles Lakers this year. Walker is averaging around 16.6 points per game and also has a shooting percentage of 47.1 from the field, with both of them being his career-best stats so far. Recently in an interview, Walker revealed how Russell Westbrook helped him to be more aggressive and improve his game on the court.
Darvin Ham, the head coach of the Lakers, actually surprised everyone by keeping Walker in the starting lineup. And the performances of Walker definitely fulfilled the trust that the coach had put in him at the start of the season.
