There is hardly anyone on the entire planet who would dare insult, Mike Tyson. He was arguably the greatest boxer ever and was considered one of the most dangerous men on the planet. And you would have to be pretty fearless to talk bad about Iron Mike. But once, five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman did exactly that after getting drunk at a club.

Rodman was known for his flamboyant lifestyle and his unique demeanor. He was one of the most controversial characters in NBA history and he still is to date. His off-court antics made him known as ‘The Bad Boy’ of the NBA. And Rodman proudly embraced that.

On the other hand, Tyson had also a path somewhat similar to that of Rodman. He was arguably the greatest boxer of all time, and he was also highly controversial. He may have even led a more flamboyant lifestyle, and he also faced his share of troubles.

Dennis Rodman openly insulted Mike Tyson in his own club

One of the times when Rodman’s behavior could have turned out into a disaster was when he went to Mike Tyson’s club. Rodman was with a few of his friends and they were having a conversation. And the name of Tyson was bought by Rodman himself.

A person who was there at the club said that Rodman went berserk on Tyson. Rodman reportedly said, “That dude can’t tell the difference between image and reality. He thinks he’s a tough guy, when he’s just a guy. I can’t change my image, because Dennis is my image.”

Dennis Rodman was reportedly in a very inebriated state and would probably not repeat those comments on Tyson. The duo became friends during their playing eras and have continued to remain to this day.

Tyson and Rodman used to go to Las Vegas together, and they continue to hang out. Rodman even came on to the Hotboxin podcast hosted by Mike Tyson and Iron Mike didn’t seem to be bothered by Rodman’s comments.
