However, for Harden to make bold claims about changing or revolutionizing the game may have been a bit too much for some fans, and since he made that admission, Harden has been getting slammed by NBA fans on social media ever since.?

James Harden took a huge leap from his playing days with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Harden elevated his game to the point that he won the Sixth Man of the Year Award during his OKC years.

James Harden gets roasted by fans

Harden rose up to another level when he joined the Houston Rockets. Harden averaged his highest point percentage with the Rockets,?averaging 36.1 PPG during the 2018-19 season.?

Fans however were not on board with his claim. One fan tweeted, ?He?s right he taught players how to quit on their team.??

While another fan commented, ?This is hilarious because he deff changed the game, but not in the way he thinks that step back 3 belongs to curry he changed the way ref call fouls cause his a** made a living off them for so long.?

Harden was undoubtedly one of the most lethal scorers in the league at one time. He may have invented his double step-back jumper. However, fans seem to believe he also may have exploited some rules to get his way and make a ton of free throws.
