Jasmine Jordan works as a field representative in sports marketing for the Air Jordan brand. She was interviewed by the Chicago Tribune in May 2020. During the sit down, she discussed a variety of topics and gave very honest answers to all the questions. At one instance, the host asked about Jasmine’s relationship with her father, Michael Jordan.

She replied, “I was definitely a daddy?s girl growing up. And, you know, he still calls me ?Princess? to this day and I?m almost 30. … He definitely wanted to coddle and protect and nurture and baby me as much as he can.”

“But you also knew the harsh reality of the burden that I was going to have to endure the older I got. So he wanted to make sure I had tough skin. And I understood that, hey, there?s going to be a target on my back,” she added.

Being the child of a global icon like Jordan is no easy feat, especially at a young age. There was always huge pressure on MJ’s children to emulate the success of their parents. Also, everything they did was under the microscope all the time and judged by many.
