So, it was natural for fans to absolutely slam Stephen Curry?s teammate, Draymond Green when he decided to compare himself to ?The King.?

Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green recently appeared on the show, ?NBA on TNT.? And Green ended up making some pretty big claims about his career with respect to that of Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James.

Draymond Green claimed that LeBron James is the only player on the court with a resume that stacks up with his. Now, even though both players have won four NBA championships over the course of their careers, that statement may not be correct.

Fans in the comments section went berserk after Green made that statement. While many were downright ruthless towards Green, some decided to put his thoughts in perspective.

Where does Green stand in comparison with LeBron James?

LeBron James and Draymond Green are no doubt, poles apart when it comes to their on-court performance. LeBron James is a gifted scorer that can put the team on his back and rally them to the victory line. When asked about LBJ, even Luka Doncic chose not to partake in that conversation.

While Draymond Green is an integral part of the Golden State Warriors system, he is not the main focus of the opposing team?s defense. Green knows his role on the team and performs well.

However, the responsibilities on the shoulders of both of these players are entirely different. Moreover, James is more athletically gifted, has a better basketball IQ, and is considered one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

So, for Green to compare himself to a player that has clearly done it all in comparison to his accolades, may have been taking things a bit too far.
