The NBA world has seen its fair share of fights during games. Although everyone wishes that these incidents could be completely avoided during games, there is no way to ensure that. In the heat of the moment, many players tend to act on impulses they wouldn’t have responded to under normal circumstances. In the recent NBA game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Orlando Magic, a similar thing happened at the end of regulation time. After a few hours had passed since the embarrassing incident, Timberwolves star Austin Rivers didn’t shy away from throwing shade at his opponent.
At the post-game press conference, Rivers tried to make sense of the incident that went down during the game. The Timberwolves star didn’t really have a merry disposition while talking about the altercation as he took a dig at Magic star Mo Bamba.

Rivers was obviously asked about the talk of the town, which was his fight against Orlando Magic star Mo Bamba. At the end of regulation, the two got into an ugly tussle and had to be separated before anyone got hurt. A lot has been said about the incident since then and Rivers came out to say his piece about it as well. During the post-game conference, a reporter asked Rivers what exactly happened after the altercation transpired.
“He tried to run up on me or whatever… but ain’t nobody worried about him, man. I’m keeping it 100 with you,” said Rivers. He further added, ” He let like a 5-foot-8 guy push him off and take him back to the locker room. So I don’t know how serious his threats were.”
The Timberwolves star definitely isn’t done with the incident as he was really angry off the court as well. His Instagram stories were also directed at Bamba as both had a very public battle on social media as well.
