The Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry have a shot to add to their impressive dynasty. They have been to six Finals in eight years and have already won three titles. Now, they have a chance to cement their legacy as one of the greatest dynasties ever.
However, one former Phoenix Suns player said that they need another one to be ever considered as a dynasty and that has not gone down well with the Warriors fans.
Amar’e Stoudemire was recently on ESPN and he was asked what the Warriors need to do in order to be mentioned as one of the greatest dynasties ever. He said, ?They have to win this one to become a dynasty team. From my understanding, dynasty teams are the teams that win three championships in a row. That becomes a dynasty, right?

“So, I think the terminology of dynasty has been somewhat shifted a bit because now you have teams that have been to the Finals, with the Warriors. For example, they?ve been to the Finals six times. They won, but they haven?t won three in a row, which is a difficult thing. “
Warriors fans are not happy with Amar’e for saying Stephen Curry and the Warriors are not a dynasty
Warriors fans did not take too kindly to hearing Amare’s words. They mocked him for his lack of achievements and his failures in the playoffs. Here are some of the reactions:

'15, '17, '18. I'm old enough to remember GSW taking down a fair number of recent titles. Recent 3 ain't enough to be a dynasty?

6 finals in 8 years probably not enough for Stoudemire. Or 6 finals in 6 playoffs not enough?

Everyone thought that after Kevin Durant left, the Warriors dynasty was done. In the next season, Klay Thompson was out of the year and Stephen Curry was out for the majority of the year. The Warriors finished as one of the worst teams that season. Then the next year, Klay had to sit out again, but Curry put on a clinic and guided them to a spot in the play-in tournament. But that was the end of it.
However, this year has been entirely different. The Warriors started as one the best teams in basketball and they were one of the favorites to win it all. And they have romped past opponents in the playoffs before. They now have a chance to show how good they are even without Durant.
