Recently, the Game 5 star for the Boston Celtics, Derrick White sat down for an interview with The Athletic. After managing to finally have some momentum under them, the NBA community was baffled as to how the team was able to survive.
White narrated the entire story that took place, and it wasn?t head coach Joe Mazzulla who inspired the roster. Instead, it was Celtics’ assistant head coach Matt Reynolds, who got through to the players.

So, to sum it up, Reynolds reminded the team that they were having just one bad week out of a total of a nine-month-long season. His next words were the ones that inspired everyone when he said, ?Don?t ruin the season off a bad week.?
