The Utah Jazz blew out the Indiana Pacers on Friday. The Jazz came out with 139 points as opposed to the Pacers’ 119. But it seems like the Pacers did try everything to take control of the ball. Perhaps, that could be an understatement. NBA fans called out a certain player for his actions on the court.

As Jazz’s Collin Sexton went in for a free throw, other players waited to pounce on the ball. But a certain entanglement has left the NBA world in mayhem. 20-year-old Isaiah Jackson in his efforts to block Jazz player Walker Kessler ended up twisting Kessler’s arm.

Kessler was visibly in pain, that he had to stop and wince, holding his arm.

The play piqued everyone’s attention. One user wrote, “He could have broke his arm there“. While others expressed their anger at Jackson for resorting to dirty antics. Some even debated if a flagrant foul 1 was enough for Jackson.

Flagrant foul 1 is a penalty that constitutes any unnecessary contact between players from opposing teams.

Isaiah Jackson has been considered a “snatch and go” player and at times has charged “without anyone nipping at his heels“. But has he taken it too far this time? He finished the game with 8 points.

The rise of the NBA rookie

21-year-old Walker Kessler has been laying brick by brick for each game, proving he is indispensable for the Utah Jazz. In last night’s game, he produced a career-high of 20 points and 11 rebounds and led the team to victory against the Pacers.

Though his average may only be 5.7 points, Walker Kessler still leads the rest of the rookies in blocks.

Jazz coach, Will Hardy also praised the player for developing his basketball intellect and judgment of the game. “Keeping his hands back, using his body, using verticality, and making guys have to make tough layups over him.
