Davis apparently got his ankle hurt after a poor landing during the game against?the Denver Nuggets. Even though the Lakers won 126-108, they lost their superstar for the ensuing weeks.

In fact, it has been reported that Anthony Davis has done more heavy lifting this season than even his teammate, LeBron James. “He has outscored, out-rebounded and out-blocked James thus far this season, and he’s done so on significantly more efficient shooting“, CBS NBA wrote.

What does this update mean for the Lakers and Anthony Davis?

The Lakers are currently 12th on the Western Conference table, with a 12-16 record so far this season. While they already don’t have much room to play around, each game is even more important from here on. Unfortunately, without Davis, whether or not the Lakers can cope will be the question on many fans’ minds.
