One of the biggest disputes of this decade has been the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Arguably the greatest players of their generations, the two players have influenced the game tremendously. Dominant in all aspects of the game, there aren’t many factors that separate the two. While the two have been recognized and applauded for their legendary careers, there is one record where Jordan stands clear.
Both men have their fair share of records and have topped the lists of many NBA accolades. However, His Airness holds an edge over The King in one particular list.

In a recent Instagram post that listed out the ‘Top 10 players to win a Scoring Title”, fans were left bewildered when LeBron James’ name didn’t show up. The list has some recognizable names and a few that have fallen into obscurity.
At the 10th spot is Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 2 titles. The positions between 9th and 6th are a tie, with all of them winning 3 titles each: James Harden, George Mikan, Bob McAdoo, and Neil Johnston.
The 5th to 3rd spot is shared as well between Allen Iverson, Kevin Durant, and George Gervin winning 4 titles each. Wilt Chamberlain finished second with 7. Topping the list is MJ, with 10 scoring titles to his name. On the other hand, The King has only 1 scoring title which he won back in 2008 after averaging 30 PPG through the course of the season.

Holding ten scoring titles over LeBron’s one, many were left fuming and dismayed at the disparity that exists between the two.
LeBron fans call out Jordan for being a ball hog

Many fans let their feelings known in the comments section of the post. One confused fan commented, “Where is LeBron James?” while another wrote, “Crazy this the first list I seen in a while, LeBron isn’t on.”
This post brought out the Jordan worshipers as well, with one going to explain his greatness stating, “Jordan is so far ahead of everyone else, it’s not even close. Also, Jordan accomplished this while playing in at least 5 years less than the other players.” While a valid argument, many LeBron fans were quick to jump on this.

Many felt that Jordan was never a completer player and always brought down his teammates to achieve his greatness. Explaining this one user stated, “Of course he got so many, he was a ball hog.” Continuing in his assessment the user said, ” BJ Armstrong and Horace Grant became all-stars after Jordan retired the first time, he ball hogged so f*****g much he limited two all-star talents.”
