NBA star Zion Williamson is at the center of a major drama that has grabbed the headlines recently. A few days back, Williamson’s girlfriend Ahkeema announced the two are having a baby together, due in November. Ahkeema reportedly shared images of the gender reveal party on social media which disclosed they are having a daughter. But things went south quickly. After the images went viral, adult star Moriah Mills accused Zion of having a physical relationship with her. While many have criticized the forward for the controversy, a former NBA star defended him while bringing up Ja Morant.

After missing the whole of the 2021-22 season, Williamson only featured in 29 games in the 2022-23 season. The fans and analysts alike were extremely disappointed with his absence. Also, many have slammed the two-time NBA All-Star for his weight gain in recent times.

A former star compared Zion Williamson with Ja Morant 

The New Orleans Pelicans fans are hopeful that Zion Williamson will come back stronger this season. But Williamson’s latest milestone was not celebrated by the fans. When the video of Zion and his girlfriend Ahkeema’s gender reveal party went viral, fans called out the NBA star. So when Moriah Mills claimed Williamson was with her just last week, it added fuel to the fire.

According to a report from New York Post, Mills tweeted, “I was with you last week in New Orleans and you couldn’t tell me you had a random th*t pregnant after all I’ve done for you @Zionwilliamson.” She also warned Zion that she could be pregnant too.

While many are unhappy with the whole situation, Gilbert Arenas hilariously supported Williamson. In one of the recent episodes of the Gil’s Arena podcast, Arenas and the crew talked about the latest controversy. When asked about it, the three-time NBA All-Star interestingly brought up Ja Morant’s strip club incident because Zion’s girlfriend is allegedly a former stripper.

Arenas said, “Ja Morant who is in the strip club paying $50000. Zion has in-house entertainment from his girl. You can’t get no better than that. Right here at home watching TV, he’s like, ‘Babe! Hey babe come on!'” And he started throwing ones. The crew could not contain their laughter.

He added, “He has entertainment in the crib from his boo. And then at the end of that, he can just pick it [money] up. He ain’t gotta go to the strip club!”
