He signed with Salt Lake City Stars as the 10th overall pick in the 2021 G-League draft. Interestingly, his father purchased a stake in the Utah Jazz franchise in April 2021. Nonetheless, Zaire’s run in the NBA was cut short due to a career-threatening injury that forced him out for an entire season. Ultimately, the management relieved him from the team in 2022.
