Having Admitted to Losing Her Own Identity Because of Marriage and Kids, Stephen Curry?s Wife Ayesha Once Revealed She ?Never Got the Balance?

NBA superstar Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha have been married for more than a decade now. The couple tied the knot in 2011 after dating for a while. They have two daughters and a son. The two first met when Ayesha was 14 and Curry was 15, in a church. Ayesha Alexander and her family had just moved to North Carolina from Canada at that time. However, they were not acquainted with each other as both were busy with the pursuit of their dreams.

Steph, as we know, wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father Dell Curry, and be a star in the league. On the other hand, Ayesha wanted to be an actress. While Curry started college in Davidson, Ayesha moved to Los Angeles after graduating from high school to pursue her acting career. She made some appearances in a few movies.

Then in 2009 Curry and Ayesha met each other accidentally and thus began their love life. Ever since that, she has been with the sharpshooter throughout his ups and downs in the league. After marrying in 2011, they welcomed their first daughter in 2012.

Ayesha and Stephen Curry are one of the most popular couples in the country. And they often make appearances in various shows, podcasts, and interviews. In 2019, Ayesha made an appearance on the ‘Strahan and Sara and Keke’ show and talked about motherhood, and career, among other things. During the show, she admitted she never got the balance between her career and family responsibilities.

“I’m constantly running around like a chicken with a head cut off. I think I find peace in knowing that every single mom out there is in the same space as I am, mentally. And that we are all just trying to figure it out. So in my mind, there’s no such thing as balance. I just find beauty in the chaos and like deal with things as they come against,” Ayesha said.

She also once talked about the difficulties of building a career with young children at home to take care of. Ayesha stated that she loves being a mother but wanted more for herself, too. She then pursued her interest in cooking and began hosting her own show ‘Ayesha’s Home Kitchen’ on Food Network.

Ayesha has been a huge support for her husband Curry with all the traveling involved with being an NBA superstar. After winning the championship last season, Ayesha and her children joined the Warriors in the victory parade.
