“Has to Get Worse”: Stephen Curry’s Pregnant Sister Craves for Space Before Chaos Unfolds

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was born into an elite family of sporting stars. His father, Dell Curry, played in the NBA for quite some time and built a reputation. On the other hand, his mother was a college volleyball star as well. Naturally, their genetics passed down and their sons turned out to be sporting icons as well. While much is known about Steph and his brother, Seth Curry, they have a lesser-known sister.

Sydel Curry, the youngest of Dell and Sonya Curry, has built herself a good career outside of sports. Taking to her Instagram recently, she posted an update right before a very hectic week.

Stephen Curry’s sister makes an honest confession ahead of a busy week

Sydel Curry is a blogger, mental health activist, and a soon-to-be mother of two. Although she has lived in the shadow of her superstar elder brother practically all her life, Sydel has built quite a reputation outside the world of sports.

Moreover, she also has a large fan following on social media platforms. “In full swing organizing mode/nesting mode today! After a weekend away and just life seeming all out of whack, I’m wanting to get my comfort space some real good TLC before we get really busy with weddings and travel and before sissy gets here”, she wrote on her Instagram story.

Additionally, she also added a small little note before the start of her busy week. “Has to get worse before it gets better”, wrote Sydel Curry.

She is no stranger to highly hectic routines. After all, she was an athlete in college and she has multiple ventures to her name. Similar to her mother, Sydel pursued volleyball at Elon University from 2014 to 2016.

Sydel Curry, who once made an honest confession about being Stephen Curry’s sister, is married to one of her brother’s former teammates. It is Damion Lee who played for the Warriors from 2018 to 2022.

In fact, Stephen and Seth Curry were the groomsmen at their sister’s wedding in 2018. The couple welcomed their firstborn, a son, in December 2021. A few months ago, the couple revealed that they are expecting another child in August who will be born through IVF.
