Earlier in the week, LeBron James bagged 43 points against the Charlotte Hornets. His game-winning showcase was a compilation of incredible baskets and assists. But the range of his lobs stood out to fans. The lobs included traditional simple moves to reverse windmill lobs. Fans were in awe of the four-time NBA champion once again. While the NBA world celebrated him, James was busy watching and applauding his son, Bryce James.

Bryce James, LeBron’s 15-year-old son, plays for Sierra Canyon High School. Bryce jumped up and executed a perfect lob during a recent practice session. While he stayed hanging on the rim for a moment, his teammates rushed to cheer him on. As they hugged and clapped for him, Bryce looked happy. He had just lobbed the ball in, much as his father would. LeBron later posted a video of the lob on Instagram and flexed his son’s skill. His wife Savannah joined in on the proud parent moment. James referred to his son as “Young King” and encouraged him to keep moving forward.

The James clan’s flex leaves NBA fans perplexed

As fans watched the video, they couldn’t stop themselves from reacting to the same. Some fans called LeBron out for flexing while others joked about how James even got hold of the footage. Some also stated that the 18-time All-Star had exposed the school’s new game plan for everyone to see.

Here are some of the reactions from NBA fans:

“bro just exposed their new play”

“How you got access to the school cameras?”

“bro had to get the 4k footage”

“did TMZ leak this?”

However, some fans seemingly enjoyed the video. They commented about how similar Bryce’s lobs were to LeBron’s and claimed that great lobs are part of the family’s DNA:

“LeGenes kicking in”

“Man y’all cheatin..”

“Made it look easy. Me I would’ve need a run start lol”

“He gonna be better than Bronny and Bron”

An update on LeBron James

The NBA veteran missed out on the game between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers because of a non-covid illness. Coach Darvin Ham stated that James was down with a common cold and nothing serious. The team thus advised him to rest up, relax and get better. Despite his absence though, the Lakers managed to bag a 112-109 win in overtime.

The Lakers face the Atlanta Hawks next on Friday night. Previously, it was reported that while James has recovered from the cold, he was facing issues with his ankle. Despite the soreness, ESPN reported that the 18-time All-Star “is likely to play in Friday’s game against the Hawks”.
