Every season in the NBA paves way for new and surprising talents showcasing their dominance on the hardwood. Only a few players continue to play for the same franchise throughout their careers. The rest get traded to different franchises based on the particular team’s roster requirements. During interviews, the players usually speak highly of their former franchises, but contrarily, a Los Angeles Clippers star went all out on his former team in a recent interview. Following the interview, NBA fans swarmed with their varied opinions on the star’s comment.
The Clippers’ John Wall has had a successful 11-season-long career averaging 18.7 points in 647 games. He played his rookie year for the Washington Wizards in 2010. He continued to play nine seasons for the Wizards until he got traded to the Houston Rockets in 2020, before joining his current team in 2022. In the current season with the Clippers, Wall has had a below-par performance, averaging 11.4 points in 34 games. Moreover, he got the attention of NBA fans after his strong statement against his former team.

One user said, “ Now that ain’t right. John Wall cold for this, had me in tears. Stephen Silas knew what he was doing starting you.”
As losing the games on purpose questions the integrity of the players, fans went furious over Wall’s claims. Another user said, “Forget the Patton stray, when a player admits to losing on purpose, that’s an issue.”

Forget the Patton stray, when a player admits to losing on purpose, that's an issue. You ain't supposed to say the quiet part out loud, whether it's the team or management throwing games. NBA won't like this.
