Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen continues to beef with his once partner-in-crime, Michael Jordan, who joined the Chicago Bulls in 1984. Three years later, Scottie Pippen joined him in Chicago. The two would pair up to win six NBA titles in eight years during the 1990s. However, Pippen recently looked down at Michael Jordan and his early years as a Bulls player. Pippen also blasted his former teammate with crude remarks. Turns out, everyone does not think about MJ’s early years the same way Scottie Pippen thinks.

For Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan’s gameplay before Pippen joined the Bulls was far from remarkable. However, a veteran sports analyst begs to differ with Pippen. The analyst challenged Scottie Pippen’s claims by recalling what a Celtics legend said about a young MJ.

Scottie Pippen has recently appeared on an episode of Stacey King’s?Gimme the Sauce?podcast and has ever since become a talk of the town in the NBA world. Pippen unleashed a tirade against his former teammate Michael Jordan.

“I’ve seen Michael Jordan play before I came to the Bulls. You guys have seen him play. He was a horrible player,” Pippen said. The Bulls veteran also said that Michael Jordan, according to him, had always prioritized scoring over winning. But was Michael Jordan a “horrible player” before Pippen joined the Bulls?

In a recent episode of the?Keyshawn, JWill and Max?podcast, the hosts, Jay Williams and Max Kellerman, shared their thoughts on Pippen’s tirade against MJ. Max Kellerman quickly recalled Jordan’s third season with the Bulls. Kellerman reminisced about the game in which Jordan scored 63 points against Larry Bird’s Celtics.

“Bird was incredible. Had the league on smash. Bird, after that game, said Michael Jordan is the greatest player he has ever seen. Think about that for a second. So that was Jordan in his third season, right? Not horrible. Not according to Larry Bird, who was the best player in the game,” Max Kellerman said.

Those 63 points in a playoff game are to this date an unbroken record. A young Jordan’s breathtaking display prompted Larry Bird to praise his opponent.
