Hollywood actor Denzel Washington has remained a huge fan 0f the Los Angeles Lakers for quite some time now. ‘The Hurricane’ actor was among the thousands of fans who witnessed LeBron James‘ record-breaking shot that made him the new All-Time scoring leader after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Washington was also among the people who had personally congratulated his good friend and NBA legend Magic Johnson for having acquired James to LA. While LeBron and Washington are not the best of friends, the two have often interacted with each other on several occasions just like they did recently.

The 19x NBA All-Star suffered from a foot injury during the game against the Dallas Mavericks that took place on Sunday night. James dropped 26 points and led his team to their third consecutive victory, having previously defeated the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans.

LeBron James runs into Denzel Washington at Lakers game

The Los Angeles Lakers recently went up against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the former’s home court Crypto.com Arena. After previously defeating the New Orleans Pelicans by 123-117, the Lakers fell short of the Timberwolves by 102-110. LeBron sat out the game leaving Anthony Davis, who scored game-high 38 points, to shoulder the responsibility of the team.

However, James did not miss out on the game and arrived as an avid supporter of the gold and purple team. Among the spectators was also Denzel Washington who often attends the Lakers games whenever his busy schedule allows. A video that roughly captured the courtside affair from the game roughly showed Washington and the Lakers superstar engaged in a brief conversation.
