The saga began when Tobias Harris, in a recent interview, claimed that casual Sixers fans would trade him for a Crumbl Cookie. The comment, made in jest, was a response to the ongoing trade speculations surrounding him.

However, it caught the attention of Crumbl Cookies, who responded with a viral tweet offering a free cookie to everyone in Philadelphia if Harris stays with the Sixers.

In a show of support for Harris, Sixers president Daryl Morey, who is worth $8M per year, visited the first Crumbl Cookies store and posted a photo of himself standing in front of it on Twitter. His caption read, “@tobias31 had to check out the first @CrumblCookies store. Don’t worry Tobias, no casual fans in sight here.”

However, this gesture did not sit well with many Sixers fans, who took to Twitter to express their discontent.

Fans slammed Daryl Morey?
