The Golden State Warriors entered the second round of the Western Conference playoffs as one of the favorites to win the West. However, four games later, the Los Angeles Lakers led by LeBron James have taken a massive 3-1 lead in the series. Although Stephen Curry and Co cannot be ruled out till the last game of the matchup, fans on the internet have already started slamming the Dubs players. It is more than evident that something is wrong within the Warriors camp. Although Steph Curry is going about his business as usual, players like Jordan Poole and the rest of the crew have not shown up for work.

Poole, who started the season off with a major punching controversy involving Draymond Green, has performed below expectations. He is averaging just 10.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 11 games during the 2023 NBA playoffs.

Additionally, reports claim that there was some tension in the Warriors’ locker room when Jordan Poole talked to the media. “So, the Warriors PR was coming over and saying, ‘Jordan, could you talk postgame?’ He seemed a little reluctant. You could tell that he was very frustrated. All of the other players were listening as well … It was like all eyes and ears were on Jordan right there. And it just heightened the tension,” said Warriors reporter Kerith Burke.

Following a horrible Game 4 performance, Poole’s reputation has certainly taken a hit. The 2022 NBA champion, who signed a $128 million rookie max contract earlier this season, averaged 17.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists during the 2022 playoffs. Thanks to his brilliant performances coming off the bench, the Dubs went on to lift the 2022 NBA title.
