The Dallas Mavericks have finally been able to put the pieces together to string along a couple of good games to improve their season record. After going on a seven-game winning streak, the Boston Celtics were the one to hand the Mavericks their first loss of this new year and snap their winning streak. However, things would?ve gone much differently if Mavericks star player Luka Doncic were healthy enough to play.

Luka Doncic only played 31 minutes in the loss to the Celtics. And Boston made the most of Doncic missing time off the floor as they defeated Dallas 95-124. Yet Doncic still was the team?s leading scorer in the game with 23 points.
