The much-awaited event of the year is upon us. The Match at the WYNN Golf Club?in Las Vegas is taking place and the hype is real this time. This is mainly due to the star power that is all set to take center stage on the big day. Two of the finest NBA athletes, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have teamed up for the big event. The Splash Brothers duo will be going against NFL superstars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Amidst the promotion of the event going on in full swing, the NBA duo stumbled upon a stinging claim by their teammate. Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors challenged the sharpshooters in their own domain. While the tall claim coming from Green is worth applauding, let’s not forget that he got humiliated by Kevin Hart.

Green has been a long-time teammate of Curry and Thompson. They have won 4 NBA championships together and have spent countless hours practicing their game. Safe to say that they all are very familiar with each other’s abilities as athletes on the hardwood. However, that wasn’t going to stop Green from putting out a bold challenge for two of the very best in the league. Although Curry and Thompson were on a promotional campaign for their event alongside the NFL stars, Green found his moment to challenge his teammates in a 3PT contest.

The question was asked to the two hoopers, who would win in a three-point contest between them. Being true competitive athletes, both Curry and Thompson picked themselves as winners. Curry even said that had there been a hoop at the moment, he’d be willing to settle scores. However, Green had a completely different take on the competition. He jumped in with, “I can beat both of them,” and was quickly reminded of his epic humiliation at the hands of Kevin Hart.

Notably, Curry is widely regarded as the best three-point shooter of all time.

Draymond Green’s stellar humiliation

Although Green being a competitive athlete has a lot to do with his tall claim of beating his teammates in a 3PT contest, his losing against a 5’2 comedian remains one of the funniest moments. Green was head-to-head against the legendary comedian for a 3PT shooting contest and he was able to make 12 successful shots.
