The NBA stars seem to be enjoying their offseason. After having a topsy turvy season with the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry couldn’t down his competitive spirit and took part in a golf tournament. He and his teammate Klay Thompson went against NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. But it seems Curry can’t catch a break – the two got knocked out of even this tournament by their NFL counterparts. The Golden State Warriors got knocked out of the NBA playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Semi Finals.
The season was full of controversy for the team. With one of the teammates getting punched in the face and all being ejected from the NBA playoffs, the Warriors added Chris Paul to their squad in order to get back to their winning ways. But at the exhibition game Capital One’s The Match, the unexpected losses continued for the two Warriors.

Stephen Curry is humbled on the golf field
Stephen Curry recently took on Patrick Mahomes in the game of golf. One would expect Curry to show his accuracy on the golf field as he does on the basketball court. But surprisingly Curry lost the game to the NFL stars. ESPN’s golden goose Pat McAfee recently gave his take on the golf tournament.

Pat McAfee said, “The expectation that he’s not gonna fu** up is a real one.” He added, “He looked like a human out there. Didn’t he?” McAfee made it clear that he thought Curry was going to put the ball inside of the hole in one go every time he was ready to take a swing.
But as it turns out Curry is a human after all. Despite being one of the greatest basketball players he still has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to golf. He got massively outplayed by his NFL rivals Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
