Capital One’s The Match took place recently for its seventh edition. And what had everyone’s attention was Tiger Woods making his return to the golf course after a long break. Earlier a lot of celebrities used to make appearances. But this edition of ‘The Match’ featured no appearances from celebrities this time. However, Justin Thomas and Charles Barkley were seen back at it again, exchanging insults and trash talk once more.

Names like Patrick Mahomes, Stephen Curry, Charles Barkley, Payton Manning, Tom Brady, and Josh Allen had all made appearances in previous editions of The Match. But this time there were none. Charles Barkley made sure to come back and host the event as Barkley and Thomas have a history of roasting each other.

But as the event went on, the two-time champion Justin Thomas gave us a gem while talking to Smylie Kaufman during The Match. He ended up roasting Charles Barkley on Live TV as he gave advice to Smylie.

Thomas said, “If you call Charles Barkley a fat-a**, you won’t get the on-course drink you ordered.” And they both ended up laughing it off as Thomas said that. Plus you can be sure that Barkley heard that. This wasn’t the first time Thomas called Barkley a ‘fat-a**.’ He had made the same statement two years prior as well and felt that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to go down memory lane once again.

Charles Barkley has been an avid golfer even during his time in the NBA. One of the most famous entities from the world of basketball to hit the golf course was of course Michael Jordan. But lately, Stephen Curry has been spotted plenty of times on the course as well.

And Barkley has been playing for quite a while. That is the reason why these two have made appearances in the previous editions of The Match. But that statement from Thomas wasn’t the end of it.

Barkley and Thomas went back and forth

Thomas also made a comment about Barkley while Tiger Woods was on the course. He said, “Chuck’s looking at that moon like it’s an Oreo.”

As Thomas was on the course driving in the caddy, Barkley was talking to him through an earpiece. And Barkley decided to roast Thomas back. Barkley roasted Justin Thomas and Alabama in a single sentence.
