After an enthralling series in the finals last season, the finalists met once again. Likewise, the competition was just as fierce as ever. This time however it was the Boston Celtics who narrowly came out on top in an overtime thriller against the Golden State Warriors. This was the second meeting between the two powerhouses. Celtics’ win evened up the series in the regular season. However, after what was an intense NBA night, Draymond Green found time to play with Jayson Tatum’s 4-year-old son, Deuce.

The 2021 NBA finals series was wild. There were several heated moments and entertainment for the fans. Likewise, a formidable rivalry went into the history books. But it seems it also paved way for a friendship between Green and Tatum. Notably, the 24-year-old Boston superstar was one of the few NBA players invited to the four-time champion’s wedding according to NBC Sports.

Now, after a game for the ages, the former Defensive Player of The Year shared a wholesome moment with Deuce. The popular NBA kid got a jump scare from Green who sneaked up from behind.

Draymond Green tosses Deuce around after Jayson Tatum & Co. beat the Warriors

After a clinical night for Boston’s Jayson Tatum, he did some press on the court. Likewise, Deuce, a regular at the big games was having a moment on the court. That’s when out of nowhere Draymond Green entered the frame and covered his face with a towel. He followed it up by picking up the 4-year-old and swinging him in the air. Later when revealing himself, Deuce jumped up in excitement. Hilariously, the personnel behind the camera called the Warriors star for a “foul”.

The Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors matchup lived up to every bit of its expectations. At one point, both teams led in double digits. However, each of them made resounding comebacks to keep the fans on their feet. In the end, the Celtics took over in overtime winning 121-118. Jayson Tatum led the way with a monster 34 points and 19 rebounds. For the Warriors, Stephen Curry put on 29 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
