The post shared by Shaq suggested a very unconventional trade suggestion made by the Instagram page, Basketball Forever. The trade proposal included three teams namely, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Brooklyn Nets. The Lakers would receive Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons from the Nets, and Draymond Green from the Warriors.

Whereas, the Warriors would get Anthony Davis (Lakers) and a round-one draft pick. On the other hand, the Nets would get Russell Westbrook, Jordan Poole, and James Wiseman with round-one draft picks in 2027 and 2029.

Shaquille O’Neal and NBA fans react to bizarre trade suggestion

Shaquille O’Neal shared the post on his Instagram story. Shaq left fans confused because he didn’t explicitly share his opinion about the trade. However, this didn’t stop fans from expressing their point of view. They were quick to say that the Warriors would never say yes to this idea.

Shaq’s day on Instagram

Shaq spent his night sharing a bunch of posts on his Instagram story. The posts ranged from motivational messages to music to unique facts and figures. He even made an Instagram reel.

In the reel, Shaq was seen lip-synching to audio that said, “I wake up motivated. I wake up trying to bless somebody, inspire somebody, encourage somebody, help somebody, motivate somebody and get somebody to the next level.”?

The reel included lines that said, “I know what I am. I am a whole lot of things that a lot of folks would like to be.” Shaq captioned this reel with one word, ‘yup’. One could say that Shaq had a pretty good outing on social media and kept fans busy on a no-game day.
