The development of Stephen Curry into one of the best players in the league has been extraordinary. When he came into the league, he was a skinny kid with weak ankles and was just considered a shooter. But the way he has trained and transformed himself has been amazing. He changed the game of basketball. Along with that, he is no longer weak, and he has strengthened himself. One Warriors teammate is so surprised by how Curry works out and he is now motivated to do better than him.
Kevon Looney was the 30th pick in the 2015 NBA draft. He was part of the 2017 and 2018 championship teams. Looney started out as a reserve and now he is a vital cog in Warrior’s lineup. Whenever the Warriors need size, they introduce Looney in the lineup. And he provides them with solid production. Looney maybe the biggest guy in the Warriors lineup. So you would figure that he lifts the most in the squad. But there is one other person who lifts the same as Looney. And that is none other than the Baby Faced Assassin Stephen Curry.

Kevon Looney says he needs to do more than Stephen Curry
Looney was asked how much stronger he thinks Steph has gotten over the years. He says, “I see him doing big man numbers on the bench? I see him lifting, and I got to tell the weight coach I gotta do more than Steph. I can?t be lifting the same as the point guard.”

Curry lifting the same weights as the biggest guy on the squad is quite an incredible achievement. This shows how hard Curry has worked over the years. Everyone knew Curry was a great shooter, but his inside game and finishing at the rim needed to be worked on. And today, Curry is one of the best finishers at the rim.

As far as shooting goes, there is no one who comes close to Curry. He has broken every record when it comes to shooting and this season he passed Ray Allen for the most number of threes in NBA history. The Warriors will remain a contender as long as Curry can keep up his incredible form and he has his partners in crime in Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
