While many might consider LeBron James to be the successor of MJ, a Warriors teammate equates Curry with Jordan. Talking on a podcast alongside Curry himself, Andre Iguodala explains why he compares Curry and Jordan.

Warriors teammate compares Curry to Michael Jordan
While Stephen Curry might be one of the best players in the league, he is usually not the man compared to Michael Jordan. The two have completely different playing styles playing in two different generations.
However, a Warriors teammate, Andre Iguodala, feels Curry has the same aura as MJ. Talking on his podcast with Steph himself, Iguodala talks about the influence of the two superstars.
He said, “We only talk about a few athletes in this vein. It’s like MJ moved a certain way and wherever MJ going, we going. Where you going? Alright, I’m gonna follow you. You are not telling us what to do, but you are telling us what to do. That’s how we feel with you [Stephen Curry].“
Interestingly enough, despite both the athletes having respect for each other, Curry caused some controversy with his statements. According to him, the 2017 Golden State Warriors?would have beaten the 1996 Chicago Bulls.

According to Stephen Curry, the Warriors would have beaten the Bulls. During an interview with GQ, Curry said, “Absolutely. Obviously, we will never know, but you put us on paper with them, I like our chances.“

Although many bashed him for this comment of his, Curry later clarified. He said, “The Best part is I talked to MJ over the Summer. And he would be disappointed I think If I didn?t have confidence in my team”
