The Golden State Warriors left nothing out in Game 2 of the NBA Finals as they evened the series up against the Boston Celtics. Looking back at their Game 1 loss, the Warriors weren’t here to make the same mistakes. Likewise, they went off in the second half and put the game to rest even before it got to the fourth quarter.
However, Jordan Poole’s insane buzzer-beater in the third quarter proved to be the cherry on the top for the Bay.
Before the NBA playoffs, the Warriors suffered a major shock as Stephen Curry picked up an injury. In such a big time, Poole had to step in as the starting point guard for the Warriors. And he was electric from the get-go. He set a record in his playoff debut going off for 30 points against the Denver Nuggets.

Likewise, his scoring touch is always a huge factor in the Warriors’ success. However, in the last few games, Poole has been silent and struggled to make timely buckets. But tonight was different.
Poole marked the night for the Warriors with an insane half-court buzzer-beater to end the third quarter.

Jordan Poole gets the Warriors fans in the air after unreal buzzer-beater
After a hot start in the playoffs, Poole hasn’t been able to keep it up. While his 13.7 points per game off the bench aren’t bad, he was hot to start his post-season career. While that drew in some attention, Poole put it all to close tonight.
Scoring all the important buckets off the bench, he capped off his night with a long-range buzzer-beater that further hurt the Celtics. He pulled up from near half-court at the end of the third quarter to make it a 35-14 run for the Warriors.
His shot was heard all around the world as NBA Twitter couldn’t believe their eyes. Calling him ‘Curry Jr.’, Poole was the driving force behind Curry tonight. After a series of quiet games for him, Poole bounced back on the grandest stage.
